The sun is shining, the first flowers shyly poking their heads out of the ground, the puddles joyfully glistening, the birds singing acapella and the east winds softly dancing through the naked branches. You feel the creative power of Spring in the crisp air, you want to participate in the rite yet lethargy and winter blues sit deeply in your bones.
Fortunately, there is a way how to trick your brain to finally wake up. Essential oils send complex odour molecules via your nose directly to the limbic system, this oldest part of our brains that evolved first. Invertebrates it is called the smell brain because their survival depends on their sense of smell. In us humans, it is intimately responsible for processing emotion and influences our instinctive behaviour, drives and motivations. Depending on the different odour molecules, essential oils can have a profound influence on the limbic system.
Keeping this in mind, we have created a blend to add to your diffuser which has the potential of making you widely awake and sparkling with energy. For the blend we have chosen:
Wild mentha oil awakens and energizes the senses, clears the mind and promotes openness and positivity.
Grapefruit for it purifies the air, opens new perspectives and makes the soul dance.
Lemongrass for it relieves fatigue, stimulates, lifts the mood and revitalizes.
For a Spring Awakening treat add to the diffuser
- 3 drops of Wild mentha essential oil
- 4 drops of Grapefruit white essential oil
- 1 drop of Lemongrass essential oil
Diffuse for up to 30 minutes at a time.
